  I Am...
I took a long time to sit back and think about what I am, who I am, what I'm scared people think about me, and what I hope people think about me.

Good or bad, I just wanted to really take a hard look at exactly who I currently am. Here is who I AM:

Comments:
I would be interested in the impetus for writing this. Did anything happen that caused you to question yourself lately? Did the holidays spark the sentimental Jason?

On the note about conquering epic video games: Had a chance to play "Gears of War" yet? Awesome game, just beat it for the second time on Hardcore. Those days of DOOM 3 and Half - Life 2 helped the skills.

and then after we finish lists like these we gotta assess how accurate our assessments are....how biased are we and in what ways? the possibilities are endless.....so then we wonder what HIS assessment of us is? and of course He sees us as absolutely perfect, unique, but perfect. because of the blood. and we have the opportunity to agree with who He currently says we are....aah, as you can see, i've been thinking about identity too... today, actually...and who we think we are is very very important i think........and for the record, I think a weakness of this list is that you underassessed your strengths and overassessed your weaknesses...

You are! But isn't that what makes us all like you?

Let me just say the mental picture I had of Jason singing along to a Boy George song was not a pretty one.

Oh, and "nosy". You forgot "nosy".

You and Caleb have the whole "I want everyone to know I have the coolest one" thing going on. You two just might have to battle it out.

i keep trying to post a comment and then sign in problems and i get annoyed and leave

in summary. we are very similiar. crazy. everyone i know likes you a bunch. yea for jason being jason.

What Boy George song would I be singing to? I don't even know any Boy George songs.

You said you want women to want you.

Boy George sang, "I want you to want me."

thanks for clarifying that dave. i was totally confused on the boy george thing.

"A bad influence"

Jason, you may now be a bad influence to those around you, but that merely comes from living 3 years in the Beta House.

There is no way you were a bad influence when I knew you best as your procrastination was mostly self-confined and you had less vices than most.

For procrastination, I would go with Chetan being the worst influence. He got so excited about meaningless things he was often able to convince others into going along with him when they should have been doing their school work.

For vices, looking back I was probably up there as one of the worst influences. And not that I really had the worst vices, but I was almost always the instigator of some of the most memorable nights, and not always good memorable. Best example involving you probably was our first Niagara Beta Formal. I was the one that came up with the idea to fill the tub with ice and beverages. I was also the one that then put forth the challenge to consume all such beverages before formal. I was the one that pushed/created the drinking games that ensued that got it done and then the craziness that ensued in the Falls Walk before dinner was largely my fault/idea as well.

That one I'm proud of, many others I'm not (i.e. Tequila night, Devo's Mad Dog night, 2am football against the freshmen night), but I was almost always the central driving figure.

What was so bad about 2AM football against the freshman night? I distinctly remember my pants AND underweat being torn off which provided the extra "encouragement" I needed to run all the way down the field for a touchdown.

Bad Things from 2am FB:

1. Tommy almost died. I mean he was probably 90% dehydrated before we started playing, but he played hard and was probably 125% dehydrated by the end.

2. Moran's torn and browned underwear were displayed on the Beta chalkboard for the next month.

3. I almost 'broke' one of the freshmen when he came over the middle to try to catch a pass.
