  The NOT-Mullet Party On Friday
Everybody should think EXACTLY how I think, instead of like themselves. This is not a theme party. You know, it's not a "beach" party, a "pimps and hoes" party, a "toga" party, a "pirates and princesses" party, or even a "tupperware" party. The way MY brain intended mullet party to mean is that the party is in the back...as in back yard.

The more I think about it, though, it would be AWESOME if a few people came in mullet gear. Just think about it as an extra, not a requirement.

On a side note I will have a much harder time pulling off any sort of mullet outfit myself because I have finally done it...I got rid of my oldest pair of pants. I bought a pair of Tommy Jeans khakis my freshman year of high school and I finally decided to part with them this past weekend (These pants were 11 years old, 1994). I also decided to get rid of 12 other articles of clothing. At long last. Okay, I still have a pair of black corduroy pants from my sophomore year of high school...but at least I'm a step closer to getting rid of all of my old stuff.

Comments:
For a guy obsessed with skivvies... at least it can be said that you're equally obsessed with cleavage...

j your friend are goofballs, hey just like you! I am glad to here you got rid of some clothes...now you know that doesn't mean to go buy more. But you can buy some for me if you want=) Hope we can make it on Firday. Did you see Willy Wonka?? We are probably going today!

Donna, when are you going? I'm considering going to see Willy Wonka tonight, but it might be too late for Merci (I can't go until like an 8:00 movie :( If I do go it will be the AMC $4 deal.

Here's a link for Bode. Hot Arizona

I was just in Bullhead City (see article) on my way from PHX to Las Vegas by way of Laughlin. 124 degrees? Ouch.

We drove 2 miles from Bullhead city just so I could say I've been in California. I felt like if I had car trouble I would have died. There was nothingness all around me.

I understood your original post, but I still would have dressed up in mullet gear. It's a Halloween costume I put together, but never got a chance to wear (in public). We maybe interested in seeing Willy Wonka as well tonight - let us know what time and where.

Oh man, the movie starts at 7:15 at Westgate...so maybe I'll have to move my plans around tonight.

Yeah 7:15 Westgate, Terry Aut was going to call Beth sshhhh don't tell Davey but Merci is skipping the 1st playoff game, could be the last if they lose! See ya all tonight.

Bode,

Have you been to Oatman, AZ? The drive from the East to Oatman (or out of it) along old route 66 is impressive. Probably the best white-knuckler I've ever been on. The odd car or two off the side of the road from the fifties is worth noting...

If you haven't been to Oatman it's worth a trip. It's a touristy ghost town that used to have 10,000 residents when the mines were active but now has a population of about 250.

jason, i hope u gave your old clothes to easter seals or goodwill or at least a younger smaller boy and didn't just throw them in the trash. just checking. b/c truly theres always someone who can use old stuff. i used to think it was christmas everytime i got a big black garbage bag full of old "guess" t-shirts and mustard yellow hammer pants from my older cousin...man i miss my hammer pants

I used to give all of my old clothes to my cousin Jeremiah. Now that we are completely different sizes and styles, they go to goodwill. Kelly thought I had funny timing on getting my clothes together. She's had a "goodwill" pile for months and months now, and they just got dropped off earlier the same day I got my pile together.

Blistering Heat Kills 12 in Phoenix

hahaha, good call.

Ever been to Poncho's mexican restaurant in little mexico? Central down near South Mountain?

Jason, you got rid of those Khaki pants?!? Those were my favorite. Did they still have that blue ring sizer thing attached to them? Yeah, those pants were on of the first cool items of clothes you purchased...and your letting them go? What's wrong with you?

OH MY GOSH! I'm so happy that somebody remembered the blue ring I had attached to those pants. You're making me reminisce, and now I don't know if I want to get rid of those pants. They still fit, you know.

The rule of thumb is if you haven't worn it in 1 year GET RID OF IT!! You can keep the blue ring if you want!

hahaha. I have family that moved to Phoenix/grew up in Phoenix in the sixties. They live in Laveen (down the road is some Indian casino). South Mountain is in their back yard.

Anyway, Ponchos... yeah, scummy area... lots of jacked up cars and stuff around there. Was kinda scary getting gas at midnight around there. But damn, good food, and Hugh Jass margaritas there.

I think I really have honest-to-God Phoenix envy. Yes Phoenix envy.

Tombstone

I seem to be drawn to all things Phoenix, Arizona. With over 300 relatives living within 15 miles of where I was born and raised, and have always lived... I never thought I'd leave the Cleveland area. But Phoenix calls... it calls bad...

But Jess would never go for it...

Holy "Moustache and turtleneck, curls, pearls and cleavage" Batman! Just a hole in the ground?

The grand canyon is abso-frickin-lutely awesome. We were there in early April. Great time to go. Phoenix was lower 90s. By the time we got to the grand canyon it was snowing (and we were cold as h3ll). It was pretty unbelievable though. I want to go back a time or two and go to the north rim and/or go down the canyon and camp.

BTW, living in PHX, what do you think of the Mill Ave area by ASU? Living in Cleveland, where our idea of a good time is "Adopt a Trash-Can"... I thought the Mill Ave area was cool.

*sigh* Cleveland just has its collective head up its (_|_)

Yeah, I get the married stay-at-home with the dogs thing. (heh, the dog is at Doggie Daycare today... well you see, my sister-in-law owns the doggie daycare... really...

Moran's giving me a hard enough time about not wanting to travel all-the-way-across-town for his Business In The Front, Deliveries in Rear party.

Party in the back, Dave. Party....in the back.

Kids these days.
